At Shepherd’s Door, women find safety and support to overcome addictions, unhealthy relationships, negative life patterns. By treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, women are given the opportunity to live transformed, sustainable lives.

Safe Haven Maternity Home was established in 1992 to provide a safe home environment that inspires and provides resources to pregnant women and mothers and their babies who are in crisis. They have assisted nearly 900 women and babies in need. They currently house eight women and their babies.  Each resident may stay through her pregnancy, delivery and up to one year after childbirth, or longer when necessary.

The Eugene Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission providing food, shelter, clothing, and social services for homeless men, women and children of the Eugene and Lane County communities.

Oregon currently offers a variety of scholarships and state-funded grants, for its resident students who are struggling to meet the rising costs of a college education.

Students are eligible for this scholarship opportunity if they are single parents, will be enrolled in 9 or more credits each term, preference given to applicants enrolled in a Career Technical Education Program.

Students are eligible for this scholarship opportunity if they have a 2.5 GPA, are a single parent providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18, are enrolled in a professional/technical or transfer degree program, have completed at least 24 PCC credits by the end of Winter term, demonstrate financial need.

Students are eligible for this scholarship opportunity if they are seeking a degree at PCC, are single parents, students are automatically considered for this scholarship if they meet the above eligibility criteria.
