There is not cost for young women to come to Mary’s house, but it is important that all residents are willing to work toward becoming the best mother and community member possible with the assistance of caring and compassionate staff and volunteers.

The Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA) and the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) network is a proven high functioning public-private partnership. Seven private non-profit CCR&R agencies serve as regional hubs through Ohio’s 88 counties. These agencies provide professional development and technical assistance to early childhood, child serving, and school age program and professionals. In addition, these agencies provide support to providers, parents, and the community. OCCRRA coordinates and ensures consistency among the seven CCR&R agencies and is responsible for managing numerous statewide quality initiatives.

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC helps income eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who recently had a baby, infants, and children up to five years of age who are at health risk due to inadequate nutrition.
- Ohio Works First State
Ohio Works First is the financial assistance portion of Ohio’s Office of Family Assistance Cash program, which provides cash benefits to needy families for up to 36 months. Minor children living with nonbiological guardians, six-month pregnant mothers, unmarried minor parents or pregnant minors living at home are all eligible.
