Lactation Stations provide a secure, private and restful room for you to breastfeed or pump. All stations will include a chair, desk or table, and electrical outlet. Stations at University Park, Penn State Abington, Penn State Erie, Penn State Schuylkill, and Penn State Harrisburg also provide a hospital-grade, multi-user pump.

The Gianna Center of Philadelphia is dedicated to providing general gynecologic care, natural family planning education, and infertility services. All medical treatments are aimed at restoring the reproductive system and work cooperatively with a woman’s body.

At Natural Women’s Health Dr. Ruberu and her team care about getting to the root cause of your gynecologic problems. They address women’s health issues including ovarian cysts, infertility, PMS, menstrual disorders, recurrent miscarriage, postpartum depression, and perimenopause by looking for the underlying dysfunction and solving it.

A free home visitation program, nurses mentor income-eligible first-time mothers and provide education and support from early pregnancy through the child’s second birthday. Through education and guidance, nurses talk with mothers about the medical, psychological, social, and developmental aspects of being pregnant. They provide new mothers with support, education and counseling on health, behavioral, and self-sufficiency until the baby reaches two years of age. Interested first-time mothers must enroll in Nurse-Family Partnership before 28 weeks gestation.

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a national evidence-based, home-visiting program with deep roots in Pennsylvania. It is dedicated to supporting women and teens by promoting healthy pregnancies and birth outcomes, improving children’s health and development, and building families’ economic self-sufficiency. Over the last fourteen years, NFP has served close to one thousand pregnant women and their loved ones in Delaware County.

Nurse-Family Partnership is a free program that helps first-time, low-income mothers and their infants receive healthcare services, health education, emotional support, and guidance. When you enroll, you will be connected to your own personal, registered nurse who will visit you in the privacy of your home throughout your pregnancy and until your baby is two years old. Your nurse will provide the support, advice and information you need to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, and be a great mom.

The Nurse-Family Partnership is an evidence-based community health program that helps transform the lives of vulnerable families expecting their first child. First-time, low-income mothers residing in Berks or Schuylkill counties are eligible for free, in-home services. Each mother is partnered with a registered nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing nurse home visits that continue until her child’s second birthday.

UPMC Pinnacle’s Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) provides critical medical and social support to low-income, first-time mothers during their pregnancies and the first years of their child’s life. If you participate in the NFP, you will receive support, education and counseling on health, behavioral, and self-sufficiency issues during home visits by qualified UPMC Pinnacle nurses.

CAADC is the primary provider of emergency housing to homeless families and individuals in Delaware County. The Genesis Center of Washington County provides clients with supportive pregnancy resources and valuable education. Clients who attend classes or other programming at The Learning Center at Genesis can earn “Baby Bucks” that can be used to purchase items at the community centers. Baby furniture and equipment is also available to clients who visit the center during pregnancy.

The Genesis House, is a maternity care facility for pregnant women in need of shelter. The house accommodates up to 8 women at a time, and residents are encouraged to complete their education, seek employment, and become self-sufficient. They are assisted in making post-delivery plans for themselves and their children, including finding permanent housing. Residents also benefit from counseling sessions and must attend classes such as smoking cessation, prenatal care, parenting and infant-care skills, and infant and child first aid and CPR.
