The Center of Hope exists to give residents a hand up and not a hand out. This is an adult-only shelter that provides breakfast, dinner, counseling, and access to showers, laundry, and other amenities. Their residents are also provided assistance and tools to find employment.

Catholic Charities provides a variety of services for those who are unable to help themselves; especially children, women, and families. They provide services for mental health assistance, abuse intervention, housing programs, and serve pregnant mothers, parents, and migrants.

Provides temporary interventions before placement in permanent housing, opportunities to rental assistance, and permanent housing for individuals and families. Referrals to a food pantry, clothing closet, and transportation services.

Opportunity Center is a Day Shelter for homeless men, women and families. Located in west Jackson, the Center offers a safe, comfortable place to receive the basic needs a person seeking work should have such as laundry, showers, phones, employment services and more.

MUTEH’s mission is identify, engage, serve, and advocate for vulnerable populations in the state of Mississippi, while providing research-based supportive housing services; promoting affordable housing development; and to collect, analyze, and report on the data variables that guide the mission forward.

They offer pregnancy, abstinence & STD education, abortion alternatives, adoption, pregnancy tests, parenting classes, pregnancy counseling.

The Lawrence County Center for Pregnancy Choices (CPC) provides confidential resources, counseling, and support for mothers-to-be who are scared or overwhelmed by the situation they face.
