Hearing and Visually Impaired Student Grant Program was established to provide funding for undergraduate Wisconsin residents, enrolled at in state or eligible out-of-state public or independent institutions who show financial need, and have a severe or profound hearing or visual impairment.

Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) are awarded to Wisconsin high school seniors who have the highest grade point average in each public and private high school throughout the State of Wisconsin.

The House of Mercy is a 25-bed homeless center that provides homeless families throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois with short-term emergency shelter and access to housing, general medical needs, job placement, and child care resources. 

The Hannah Center exists to assist women in life crisis through compassion and guidance in a nurturing environment. They provide an urgent housing program, baby items, clothing and women clothing, and a goal program.

A Place of Refuge Ministries is a network of volunteers and staff who are committed to life and to caring for women facing crisis pregnancy in South Wisconsin. They have a house where mom’s may stay throughout their pregnancies while preparing to transition to independent living arrangements.

They provide safety, shelter and support to empower all impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. They have a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, transitional living, support groups, one-on-one support, employment and life skills, and rape crisis response.

Milwaukee Rescue Mission provides the following free services and programs, including basic needs through meals, shelter and clothing, job training, counseling, mentoring, addiction treatment, preparing for career, and connections to many other community resources.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program for pregnant women, infants, women who are breastfeeding, postpartum women, and children younger than 5. WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to other community services

The Wisconsin Foster Care Program facilitates foster care in the state of Wisconsin and ensures that children in the program are safe and placed with suitable families.

The Wisconsin Shares child care subsidy program supports eligible families by funding a portion of the cost of child care while the parents are working or participating in an approved activity.
