WIC is the USDA Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC gives you access to healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, and breastfeeding support. If you’re pregnant, a caregiver, or a parent with a child under five, WIC is right for you!   

They assist women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy situation through free and confidential physical and emotional support services.

At Bridges Domestic Violence Center, we help those who are suffering from domestic violence find a pathway to safety and independence. We provide abuse recovery counseling, support groups, support for animals, crisis intervention, child advocacy, case management, temporary shelter, court advocacy, and many other community resources.

For more than 36 years, Safe Haven Family Shelter has led Middle Tennessee’s efforts to house, support, empower and advocate for families experiencing homelessness. Their shelter-to-housing program is a one-of-a-kind in Tennessee and tailored to meet each family’s needs. They provide comprehensive services with a focus on affordable housing, employment, and community resources.

They assist single women and women with children struggling with homelessness find their next step to health and wholeness. They provide laundry services, meals, showers, beds, and many partners and resources for growth and development.

Brooks House is a transitional, non-emergency shelter that has the capacity for up to 28 women and children to receive temporary shelter. There are 10 bedrooms, shared bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and family room. They are provided with meals, warmth in cold weather and a respite from the summer heat in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
