Balancing the demands of college life is challenging on its own—but when you add parenthood into the equation, the obstacles can feel overwhelming. The Standing With You Scholars Fund was created to support pregnant and parenting students who are determined to pursue their education while raising a family.
The Scholars Fund works to empower and educate pregnant and parenting students through several different means. Our team educates campus communities about parenting students’ rights through our annual Parenting Resource Symposiums, helps create effective accommodations on campuses through policy changes for these students, and provides direct financial support through the Standing With Her Scholarship.
The Standing With Her Scholarship
A large part of the Scholars Fund is the newly launched Standing With Her Scholarship. This scholarship aims to ease the financial burden student parents face by providing tuition funding. Whether a young parent is expecting or already raising a child while attending college, this fund is designed to help them succeed in both their academic and parenting journeys.
Each scholarship is worth $2,500. Applications opened March 1st, 2025, and will close May 1st, 2025. Awardees will be announced in June.

What are the Scholarship Qualifications?
- Transcript showing 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Proof of dependent or baby’s due date by June 1st.
- 250–500 word essay.
- Proof of active enrollment and tuition cost.
