BRASS, Inc.

Founded in 1980, the Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. started as a community effort to create opportunities for accessibility for victims of domestic violence to receive emergency shelter and crisis aid, support services, and educational programming for victims and the community. Their current operation houses a 30 bed shelter, with on-site access to a laundry room, children’s playroom, and offices for their housing program, outreach services, and administration.
